Pharmacy Music is a long time in the making. The idea came about several years ago when US DJ and producer Christopher Lawrence grew disenchanted with the quality of trance being released. Just in... Christopher Lawrence was again nominated for the 'Best American DJ' award at the IDMA's, held in Miami at WMC this year. Christopher has enjoyed successive nominations for 'Best American DJ' after winning the coveted award in 2005.

In good company, Christopher was up against Gabriel & Dresden, Markus Schulz, Roger Sanchez, Danny Tenaglia and Deep Dish - although it was ultimately Gabriel & Dresden who took out the award this year. Congratulations to everyone involved!

SAMC is located in Buenos Aires, long regarded the South American dance music capital. Since it's inception in 2003, SAMC has become one of the biggest and most prestigious events on the global dance calendar.

Christopher Lawrence has returned from the Rotterdam extravaganza event "Full on Ferry" where he was handpicked by Ferry Corsten to perform. Drawing almost 10,000 people to a masquerade themed extravaganza, Ferry Corsten and his DJ friends traded off on the turntables all night.

Ferry described the concept beyond this event "For Full On Ferry, I decided that I would invite a number of DJs whom I have a lot of respect for and who, just like me have had various aliases in the past and in the present. These artists are also known for their own unique productions and success as DJs. Since I have been known to produce various sounds and play a combination of genres during my DJ sets, it made sense to invite these great DJs to join me in creating the pefect journey."

Christopher said afterwards "Ferry Corsten is a class act and a real inspiration. 'Full on Ferry' was a huge success and a testimony to Ferry's talent and popularity. It was an honor to play alongside him".

Christopher Lawrence has been hand picked by Ferry Corsten to appear at the Rotterdam extravaganza event "Full on Ferry". The event is a masquerade party featuring Ferry, alongside his favorite DJs.

UDC will host the spectacular event on 27 October in the Rotterdam Ahoy', with the theme ‘Masquerade', referring to the masks Ferry has put aside. After having completely organised mega-events around Carl Cox (three editions) and Armin van Buuren (two episodes) in the legendary Ahoy stadium, UDC will again present a groundbreaking dance event with a top international artist. Full-On Ferry is on the one hand an event where the various musical facets of Ferry Corsten can be expressed; trance, techno and electro. On the other, it is a festive reunion of his fellow DJs and producers who, like Ferry, have produced music under a number of aliases. “I want to throw a big party with these artists, with an emphasis on partying. BBC Radio 1 return to Northern Ireland this summer for a exclusive series of broadcasts direct from major music festival Planet Love, which takes place on Saturday 9th September.

The first broadcast of the event comes from dance music don Judge Jules who will introduce Planet Love out live across the UK at 7.30pm from the main Love Arena - hosted in association with Radio 1. Jules is followed by Mauro Picotto and Fergie.

Pete Tong’s Essential Mix, which will go out on air from 1am until 3am in the early hours of September 10th, will feature a set from American DJ and recent Dancestar World ‘Best DJ’ DJ Christopher Lawrence, recorded earlier that night in the Love arena. The second hour of the Essential Mix will be a pre-recording of the phenomenal closing set from Planet Love WKD festival headliner and World Number 1 DJ – Paul Van Dyk.
