Christopher was only beaten by Paul van Dyk and Tiesto and came in above Armin van Buuren, Paul Oakenfold, Ferry Corsten, DJ Irene, BT, Tall Paul and ATB. Christopher Lawrence has announced that he will not attend this years Winter Music Conference in Miami. This will be the first WMC that CL has missed in ten years. He says "I love WMC, but after ten years I am ready to skip a year. I'm doing an Australian tour and taking a break for a few weeks to spend time with my family and new baby girl. I hope everyone has a great time at WMC this year.. I'll see you back there in 2007!"

Christopher was once again nominated in the "Best American DJ" category at the International Dance Music Awards at Winter Music Conference. The IDMA's are considered one of the premier awards show for the dance music industry. Being the first of it's kind, it has set the precedent for all subsequent dance music awards shows. Over 10,000 ballots are cast to vote for the most innovative and elite artists, producers, promoters, remixers, and record labels in the industry. Industry professionals gathered to pay tribute to those who achieved exceptional acclaim throughout the course of the previous year. After Christopher taking out last year's "Best American DJ" award, this year's title deservedly went to Deep Dish. Congratulations.

February 2006 – Internationally renowned DJ’s Christopher Lawrence and DJ Dan pair up for the inaugural launch of the All Access Tour. The first date of the All Access Tour kicks off in San Diego on February 3rd and will culminate on Feb 25th in Atlanta. Club goers and fans across the country are in for a night they will never forget as they will have a rare opportunity to experience both of these two headlining juggernauts demonstrating why they both have earned their places among the upper echelon of DJ superstardom for over a decade.

With a combined sales history of three quarters of a million albums sold in North America alone, DJ Dan and Christopher Lawrence are not only leaders in the international touring realm, but are acclaimed producers. In 2005, DJ Dan lent his production skills to a slew of international smashes, including remixes of two different tracks for New Order, and a reworking of "Don't Cha" by the Pussycat Dolls that topped the Billboard charts for three weeks in a row, as well as Depeche Mode’s "Precious. Christopher Lawrence and LA producer Nicholas Bennison have teamed for one of the biggest tracks of the New Year season titled 'Scorcher'. The track is already being hammered by Paul van Dyk, John OO Fleming and Marco V. This months IDJ Magazine (UK) says "Two of the best USA artist team up to create on hell of a single... this is truly a powerful single. Ounces of energy but never crossing that commercial boundary!! (4/5)". Meanwhile, iVibes says "Am I the only one who instantly shivers when CL releases a new track? The man knows what the dancefloor needs and he also knows what the average home listener wants and he somehow always gets the job done.. this track is relentless in the energy and relentless in its drive. I love how this track does not let up and everytime you go up for a breath, it slams you back down. Scorcher is probably doing the damage on the dancefloor, the world over because it never lets up and it takes you along for the speeding journey". 2004 saw the successful launch of the first music conference South America, which was held in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The event attracted hundreds of electronic music professionals, who congregated in the Dance Capital of Latin America to take part in the most anticipated networking event of the year, uniting more than 25,000 people in a celebration of electronic music and dance culture.

The event was acclaimed by the international press, the DJs and the audience. DJ Times magazine headlined: "SAMC. Blazing Start in Buenos Aires". And Judge Jules commented "The SAMC event was every bit as good as the best festivals that the UK and Holland have to offer, which in its first year is an amazing achievement".

Having just returned from the Brasilia Music Festival, Christopher Lawrence joins the second edition of the South American Music Conference which will bring together important industry professionals, prestigious producers, artists, musicians and club promoters from the all South America. It will also bring together key industry professionals from the around the world, who will be able to network and discover more about the South American electronic music scene.

Once again, conferences and workshops will bring the public closer to the artists, producers, trend-setters, and avant garde musician. On Thursday 24th March Ministry of Sound will launch a 10 day event called 'Ministry of Sound Live: Donate to Dance'. MOS's online radio station will broadcast non-stop dance music involving over 300 DJs across the world. This includes eight live broadcasts from international Ministry of Sound gigs, including Christopher's set from MOS in Taipai, Taiwan.

'Donate to Dance' will aim to raise funds and increase global awareness for Nordoff-Robbins Music Therapy.

After months of delays, Christopher's debut artist album 'All or Nothing' is now available on iTunes. The album has received critical acclaim from the world's toughest music critics including Rolling Stone, URB, CMJ, Washington Post and DJ Magazine. You can also find the recently released 'UnHooked' on iTunes, which is a retrospective of Christopher's tracks for Hook Recordings in the UK.

Christopher has just been named the #7 DJ in the World in DJ Magazine's hotly anticipated 'Top 100' DJ poll for 2004. Christopher leaped an impressive 28 spots from his #35 position last year to become this year's highest ranking American DJ. The news was broken to Christopher in a 7AM interview with Aurelia from Internet DJ (click here to listen online).

Christopher's placement in the Top Ten is a particular honor, considering that this years poll has been the biggest ever with 91,481 clubbers casting votes - nearly 30,000 more votes than last year. The truly global reach of DJ culture has once again been highlighted with votes coming in from 149 different countries - from Aruba to Iraq, Kazakhstan to Guam, little more proof is needed that the many forms of dance music and the DJs that play it all to hundreds of thousands of clubbers every week are more popular than ever.

Christopher has just returned from Kuala Lumpur, where he DJ'd at the Sepang International Formula One Circuit on the closing night of the Malaysian Grand Prix. This was the first official party ever thrown in conjunction with the Malaysian Grand Prix and drew almost 10,000 partygoers, who danced the night away under fireworks and massive lighting and visuals displays. DJ Dan and Christopher Lawrence are joining forces with BPM Magazine for the 'America's Favorite DJ' tour in November. The idea came about after DJ Dan and Christopher took out the #3 and #5 positions in BPM's 'America's Favorite DJ' poll - making them the top ranked US DJs as voted by the American public. This is the first tour that the duo have done together since the PS2 'Dual Play' tour which played to packed houses across America two years ago. Spike TV goes behind the velvet rope and past the bouncers at Las Vegas's ICE Nightclub to present a ten episode series, "The Club". The one-hour series chronicles all the trials and tribulations that go into running a nightclub as it undergoes a makeover to compete with the gaming hotels on the Vegas Strip. Tune in to see Christopher featured, along with Paul Oakenfold, DJ Dan and others. ‘The Club’ premieres Tuesday, October 12 (10:00-11:00pm ET/PT).

Christopher hits the big screen this summer in the feature film documentary, 'Put the Needle on the Record', which explores the evolution of electronic music and the rise of the DJ in popular culture. Christopher's debut artist album 'All or Nothing' has been licensed in it's entirety by MTV for the forthcoming season of the hit reality TV show 'The Real World'. Set in Philadelphia, the 'The Real World's' 15th series goes to air in late August 2004.

On Tuesday July 27th, The Los Angeles Chapter of the Recording Academy®, Producers & Engineers Wing, and BPM Magazine hosted an exclusive event to celebrate the new GRAMMY Award category for 'Best Electronic/Dance Album'. The event was held at Los Angeles 'Spider Club' and hosted by Jason Bentley, renowned radio host/DJ (KCRW-FM, KROQ-FM) and GRAMMY®-nominated music supervisor of The Matrix trilogy films. Performers and speakers included The Crystal Method, Junkie XL, Paul Oakenfold and BT.

In an interview with La Opinión, Christopher said "The announcement of the new Grammy Awards category 'Best Electronic Album' is a proud moment for everyone in the electronic music industry, as well as fans of the genre. It affirms our contribution to contemporary music and culture and acknowledges the genre as serious and ongoing. The hard work of the people involved who have persevered and championed the cause to get this category added deserve our respect for a legacy that will live on cementing our place in music history".

Los Angeles Members of the electronic music community are coming together and coming out to RedefeatBush. Recently noted artists BT, Ken Jordan from The Crystal Method, DJ Christopher Lawrence, Tweaker and Nine Inch Nails co-founder Chris Vrenna gathered to support The Committee to Redefeat the President. Ken Jordan of the Crystal Method said "It was bad enough having this guy win the presidency without winning the election but he is invading countries, he lies to the country, and worst of all he is just neo-con puppet for the rich." Christopher Lawrence added, "I support the Redefeat the President campaign because, like the name says Bush lost the election, yet still became president. George Bush has the worst record of any president in history for the budget deficit, the economy, international relations, the environment, unemployment, workers rights and civil liberties. Now more then ever, every vote counts. Bush and his administration of hate and greed must be removed."

Christopher will be the special guest DJ at Sony Playstation's exclusive, invitation only E3 party on this year. The E3 convention is widely regarded as the world's leading interactive entertainment trade event, with attendees having direct access to thousands of never-before-seen computer and video games and related products before they hit the shelves. The convention returns to Los Angeles for it's tenth year, having been the site of the debut of approximately 10,000 new products, including virtually every groundbreaking piece of software and hardware to be introduced in the last decade.
