Red Bull Television recently invited Christopher Lawrence to be part of the legendary "Night Flight" series, which films and broadcasts live sets from the World's top DJs at the some of the World's top clubs. They recorded Christopher's set at Pacha NYC on Friday November 20th and now we have selected highlight available from their broadcast to share with you.
“Night Flight” has a mission : to bring the world's most legendary clubs & DJ sets right into the homes of TV viewers across the globe. Gearing up for this months Winter Music Conference in Miami, Christopher Lawrence brings you a slamming episode of Rush Hour this March featuring new tracks from Rank 1 & Jochem Miller, Spencer, Nick Rowland, Iron vs. Combinations, Corona, Hyperion & GNome and much more..
This month Christopher features a guest mix from Danny Powers, who is a Gallery regular in London and whom will be playing alongside Christopher at his forthcoming date at the club this March.
In the summer of 2007, Danny Powers started his own label nu-depth recordings with the intention of hopefully one day competing with the big guns. Vandit, Discover, Euphonic, Conspiracy all these labels have been influential to him the last couple of years and their sound is what he’s tried to incorporate onto the label, just with a bit added depth!!! Kicking off his project was Mark Eteson & Jon Prior’s ‘Dynamic Stability’; this was backed with a big euphoric Remix from Aly & Fila and a punchy workout from Frase. This released featured on Armin’s ‘A State OF Trance’ show and most recently on Tiesto’s ‘Club Life’ show. Other supporters of the nu-depth sound include John Askew, Jon O’Bir, John O’Callaghan (my current heroes!!!) Paul Van Dyk, Ferry Corsten, Markus Schulz, Ronski Speed, Matt Darey, Mark Eteson, Activa, MIKE, Kuffdam & Plant, Marcos, Frase and many more.
In 2008 Danny Powers released his first remix on nu-depth. His remix of Airborne Angel’s ‘The Unit’ was played by Mark Pledger and featured on his Anjuna Beats Worldwide show. Next up was his first ep on nu-depth, ‘Eternal Call’ received support from DJ Tiesto and it received seven plays on Radio One from Judge Jules, John O’Callaghan (his Essential Mix) and Dave Pearce. The other track on the ep ‘Frequency’ got support from John Askew, Aly & Fila, Christopher Lawrence and many more. This led to remixes for Flux Delux (Vicky Devine’s ‘Facing The Truth’, which was played by Paul Van Dyk on VONYC) Perceptive and nu-depth digital. With his next ep on the way the future is looking bright.

CHRISTOPHER LAWRENCE LAUNCHES REMIX COMPETITION IN CONJUNCTION WITH BILLY HYDE MUSIC IN AUSTRALIA
Christopher Lawrence has launched a remix competition in conjunction with Audacious Records and national music chain Billy Hyde in Australia.
The competition gives musicians the opportunity to remix Christopher Lawrence's smash hit single 'Lie to Ourselves', which was released on Audacious Records last year.
The track was a co-production with this year's Grammy nominee Dave Aude and features vocals by Jen Lasher. It received support from DJs including Matt Darey, Agnelli & Nelson, Judge Jules, Paul Oakenfold, Thrillseekers, M.I.K.E, Ronski Speed, Kuffdam, Dave Pearce, DJ Feel and David & Carr to name a few.
Now, thanks to Billy Hyde and Audacious Records, musicians across Australia have the opportunity to lend their own magic to this song, as well as the chance to win some fantastic prizes, including their remix receiving an official release on Audacious Records and sold at online record stores including Beatport.

Just back from two massive New Years Eve shows in Southern California and dates for Gatecrasher in Seoul and Crobar in Uruguay, Christopher hits the airwaves for the January episode of Rush Hour.
This month he presents two of the more recognizable producers in trance, Save The Robot (AKA Alien Project and Quadra).
Having topped in the last decade the global Trance scene, this restless duo has been hard at work in the studio and has entered new uncharted territories.
Save The Robot also produced music for Sony Computer Ent. Inc. - Grand Turismo 4. Their music was also featured on the successful Hollywood film - Man on Fire (20 Century Fox), Feat. Denzel Washington. Lufthansa flyers can find the Save The Robot sound on their music on demand channels.
Aside from independently releasing music under their successful, privately owned label: H2O Records, they have been collaborating with leading international labels, such as Pacha Multimedia SL/Pacha Recordings, Play Digital, Definitive, Iboga Records, & Universal.

FREE DOWNLOAD - CHRISTOPHER LAWRENCE BOOTLEG REMIX OF U2'S 'I'LL GO CRAZY IF I DON'T GO CRAZY TONIGHT'
Christopher Lawrence has released a free bootleg remix of U2's massive single 'I'll Go Crazy If I Don't Go Crazy Tonight'.
The single is the fifth track from U2's new album 'No Line on the Horizon'. It was one of the highlights of U2's recent European leg of the tour.
'I'll Go Crazy If I Don't Go Crazy Tonight' was originally released in the UK on September 7th by Mercury. Other artists who have released remixes include Dirty South, Fish Out Of Water, and Redanka.
Christopher Lawrence kicks up the energy level a notch with this hot new bootleg remix built around a groovy acid bass line and syncopated percussion. Use of the original vocals create dancefloor tension in the build up out of the breakdown. Classic progressive house and trance sounds were used effectively but sparingly to give the track room to breathe.
Christopher says of the remix "being given the opportunity to remix one of U2's songs was a dream come true. Bono's voice is a such a signature sound to the band's identity, I felt it was important to use as much of the original vocals of the song as possible to maintain the integrity of the song".
U2 collaborated with will.i.am in the creation of the track. It was first developed by Brian Eno under the title "Diorama" during a break in the recording sessions. Several of the song's lyrics were influenced by Barack Obama's presidential campaign. Bono stated to Q magazine that the lyrics "[sound] like a T-shirt slogan to me", also noting that it was No Line on the Horizon's equivalent to "Beautiful Day".
'I'll Go Crazy If I Don't Go Crazy Tonight' was used in television commercials for a new Blackberry application, called the "U2 Mobile App", which was developed as part of Research in Motion's sponsorship of the U2 360° Tour. There are two music videos, one directed by David O'Reilly and one by Alex Courtes.

WINTER MUSIC CONFERENCE ANNOUNCES 2010 DATES

CHRISTOPHER LAWRENCE LAUNCHES NEW DJ SIDE PROJECT - "MR & MRS SMITH" - MP3 DOWNLOAD
amous for his tough trance sound, Christopher Lawrence joins forces with his wife Sara for a new DJ side project 'Mr & Mrs Smith'.
The pair, who have worked together behind the scenes for fifteen years have brought their joint efforts into the public eye with this new DJ duo, which debuted at this years Burning Man festival.
Christopher laughs "I've been noticing there's a lot of DJs working in pairs lately. I've often thought it would be nice to have a wingman up there, although in this case, it's actually a wingwoman. I don't know of any other mixed sex DJ duos, let alone any husband and wife teams, so I think we're definitely breaking some new ground here".
Christopher continues "Mr & Mrs Smith' is an opportunity for me to play music that I couldn't normally incorporate into my trance sets. It's been inspiring for me to play a new sound and exciting to work with my wife, who is a dance music veteran in her own right. Our sound is on the electro house and techno tip, miles from what I play in my regular sets. But it's still tough, in fact Sara probably plays tougher than most male DJs out there. I've been telling people "if you are hoping to hear trance from Mr & Mrs Smith, you should probably stay at home".
Sara adds "We'll play any genre, we don't care what it is as long as it's tough and dirty, with a groove".

Currently based in Moscow, Russia, Psycoholic became highly respected as producer and DJ through his unique style, determination and unforgettable live performance. He always trying to experiment with the sound and collaborate various styles of music in his production.
In his carrier regularly played alongside heavy hitters or headlined his own gigs all over the world: from Canada to Brazil, Russia and Europe. Guest of famous festivals such as: World Electronic Music Festival (WEMF) in Canada, "Kazantip" in Ukraine, "Kokum Koya" in Brazil and many others.
After his debut album "Trance World Order" released on Psy Spy Records in 2008, Psycoholic is known as one of the best year's producers in his genre, among clubbers and professionals.
At the moment Psycoholic is busy working on a new album "Parallel Universe" which will be released November 2009.

This month also features a guest mix by Kamil Kwiatkowski (AKA Carlos Calabro), whom Christopher recently played with at Poland's massive Electocity festival. Christopher was so impressed with Carlos that he immediately invited him to be a guest on Rush Hour.
Carlos Calabro was born in 1986 in southern Poland. When you ask his parents, grandparents, uncles, aunts, friends and ex girlfriends a question “was there any indication Kamil would take up music?”, everyone will give you the same answer: “Nothing at all!”.
A producer?
In 2006, Carlo behan producing after accidentally discovering trance. With only six months experience under his belt, he was featured on Fektive Records, doing two remixes for Marcus Schossow and Glenn Morrison. In 2008, asingle „Heart of Stone” recorded with Tiff Lacey came to light. Apart from that: remixes, remixes, remixes... Not for any old guys though. Filo & Peri, Mr. Pit, Mac Zimms. Solid Sessions. During the same period, Carlo Calabro's releases landed twice on Beatport's Top10 chart. Year 2009 is devoted mainly to work on Carlo's own material. although he found time to remix Sied Van Riel („Darklight”), Leon Bolier („Selffullfilling Prophecy”)..
A DJ?
Yes, of course! Carlo was invited by Tiesto himself to “Club Life”. However, “15 Minutes of Fame” is still ahead! From March 2007 Carlo hosts a monthly “Pushing the Bar” in the most popular Internet radio - Digitally Imported (www.di.fm on each first Friday of a month.
